About two years ago the DeFiChain whitepaper was published, laying the foundation for what we know as DeFiChain today. Two years is a long time in crypto, and while many projects failed, DeFiChain succeeded and flourished. Today, it is the most successful DeFi protocol built on top of the bitcoin blockchain. But this wouldn’t have been possible without our outstanding community. Now with Christmas around the corner, we, as a community, have the opportunity to say “thank you” to each other in a cool and fun way.
To celebrate it, we are launching the #DeFiChainSecretSanta campaign — from the community, for the community!
We as a community had to face many ups and downs this year. Many of us had doubts, but we stood strong as one united community. Cohesion and support are more important than ever. Especially now that Christmas and the time of charity is around the corner,we want to bring the DeFiChain community even closer together and make sure that people do something good for each other. Why? Because we all deserve it!
And what could be better suited for this than the already decentralized activity of Secret Santa? In addition to the lively digital interaction in the community, we would like to promote some analogue interaction and celebrate this year's Christmas with gifts, for having gone through thick and thin together. Each participant will automatically be assigned to another participant (without knowing their name) and should send them a small present in the mail :-) The value should not exceed $20.
No matter if you are a silent reader, pioneer, HODLer, crypto enthusiast or whatever,we call on everyone to participate!
In order to participate, simply fill out the until 12:00 UTC on 6 December and get surprised. After the registration closes, each participant will be assigned a SecretSanta. Your SecretSanta’s address will be sent directly to your email address a few days after the registration closes. In order to reduce shipping costs, we also make sure that both your and the other party's physical address is in the same country. Chance decides. Or fate. Matter of opinion.
Be amazed and be surprised! Because you also will be assigned to someone who will hopefully go to great lengths and send you a small present this advent season.
